With Thermal Imaging, I was able to identify the exact area on this sweet mare’s back. A deep tissue massage was given to the Longissimus dorsi muscle to release tension that had been found. Kinesiology tape was applied at the end of the massage to help her back muscle continue to decompress.

Thermal Imaging is a great tool to identify soft tissue injuries, especially in the early stages. It’s also a good way to identify injuries that are not obvious in an examination due to it being masked by another injury.
