PSA: I've always kept my personal and business life very separate. I think mostly from fear of judgement. But I'm done with that now. I work hard to create a life I love, and I'm proud of it. Little post I made on my personal page... the reality of owning a small business... from my perspective as a retail storefront shop owner.

I've decided it's time to bombard my personal page with my business. Why? Because I'm proud of it, and honestly its been a tough year as many others who are self-employed I'm sure have also experienced. I've watched 20+ other businesses close their doors this year. I've had my business for 9 years, 5 years it's been my full time job. Increased US tariffs meant I lost my US customers & suppliers. A postal strike for a month (again) meant I lost approximately 40 packages that would have been shipped out (~$6000) . My personal bills have increased like everyone else's. When business numbers drop and costs increase it gets scary.

Is my life how I thought it would be right now, absolutely not.

I live in my own cabin. In the forest. With my dog. And own a crystal/handmade vendor shop on Main Street in Mount Forest. Like what? I get to listen to the waterfall outside my living room and watch the deer walk by my bedroom window everyday. I get to encourage other entrepreneurs everyday and share my selling platform that took me 9 years to build. I get to share their grief AND their wins. I have a community around me that feels more like family then anything else.

I also host a yearly fundraiser that donates to the Canadian Cancer Society, in honour of my Grams. This year, some family, along with a majority of people who were once strangers helped me donate $1500+. I've donated another $200+ to silent auctions and raffles within our community this year so far, and I expect that to be closer to $800 by year end. I've overcome a shop break-in (January 2024). I have been nominated 3 years in a row for a customer service award. I relocated my business from the city to a small town and lost some customers but also have customers that continue to drive 3+ hours to visit my shop - I've gained many that feel more like family then customers.

My business is built on authenticity, community, and truth. This holiday season when you are looking for gifts on Amazon, or Walmart, or any other billionaire owned company - I ask that you first look in your own backyard. At your local shops. At your friend's/acquaintances businesses. Because we support so many others in our community and we are people you ACTUALLY know. Your purchases in my business keep my dream alive, keep a safe space in a community that needs it, keeps my heat and lights on, puts gas in my truck and food on my table.

We have candles, soap, mugs, tumblers, wall art, jewelry, books, journals, tea, crystals and so so so much more. My vendors get 70% of their sales back in their pocket. And I SHIP ACROSS THE COUNTRY, consistently. Met me in elementary school and now live in British Columbia? Nova Scotia? No problem. I'll ship to you. And you'll likely get it within a week if you order it soon *before the holiday rush*

So please, be mindful this holiday season of where you spend your money. If not with me, try your best to keep it local/with people you know. We appreciate you.

Our Story

I have been experimenting with many different types of art and crafts over the years and I am extremely passionate about my creative streak. My Grams was always my number one supporter of anything and everything I created. She was always full of light and love. Reminding me of my big heart, and my need to create she pushed me towards this arrow of mine, that I am still following because of her light.

In 2016; I started a business page on Instagram with no real direction. It began with paintings, and photography. My sister purchased a Bloodstone necklace for me to wear on my travels to South America - April 2016. While wearing it I began to become obsessed with stones, and chakras, and needed to know as much as I could about anything and everything related to gemstones. I still have this mindset today; learning constantly about this wonderful passion of mine. Gemstones have helped me through many events in my life; both the good and the bad; and I wouldn’t have it any other way. The energies I have found in myself, through them are amazing and I am still on this wonderful healing journey, every single day. It is now 2018; and I have sold over 500 creative pieces of jewelry. WOW! 500?! Amazing ! My art arrow has direction now, and I can’t wait to see what else we can accomplish.

My designs are all inspired by nature, my travels and the wonder & simplicity I find in life. I have recently began the study of gemstones, and their healing wonders and am able to make custom bracelet suited specifically to you and your needs. Please do not hesitate to send me a message!
