An absolute favourite pose and it fits perfectly with our heart chakra opening we've been doing this month in class.
Begin in a tabletop position on your hands and knees, with knees directly under the hips.
Walk your hands forward while keeping your hips stacked directly over your knees.
Exhale and lower your chest and forehead toward the floor, keeping your arms active, elbows lifted, and palms pressing into the mat.
Hold for 30 seconds to 3 minutes, breathing deeply into the chest. To exit, walk your hands back toward your shoulders.
For sensitive knees, place a blanket or mat padding under your knees.
If the forehead doesn't reach the floor, use a yoga block or pillow for support under your forehead or chest.
