Hi Everyone!
Weβre coming back north!
Dr. Sydney Soares and I will be heading up north for our summer Northern Ontario trip the second week of July!
And! For those of you who missed it last round - exciting news!! We are excited to now offer Canine Neurofunctional Acupuncture! Similar to human acupuncture, this safe and effective treatment is aimed to alleviate pain, improve nerve function, strengthen weak or inhibited muscles and enhance balance and coordination.
Acupuncture treatments involve placing thin needles at specific anatomical points to stimulate the nervous system, boost blood flow, relieve muscle spasm, and promote pain relief through the release of endorphins. This modality is particularly effective for treating senior dogs with neurological impairments and mobility issues. Ask us for more information to see if your dog is a good candidate!
Treatments include:
- Biomechanical Evaluation
- Chiropractic adjustments & joint mobilizations
- Myofascial / soft tissue release
- Therapeutic kinesiology Taping
- Cold laser therapy/photobiomodulation (SpectraVET)
- Rehabilitative Exercise Prescription
- Canine Neurofunctional Acupuncture* (additional fees apply)
Fees:
- Equine: $177/horse plus HST, Canine: $92.92 plus HST (includes travel fee, laser therapy* and therapeutic kinesiology taping* (*based on clinical necessity), Canine + acupuncture: $141.60 plus HST
