Time change and cloudy days had me feeling real low and getting antsy about the settling in of Seasonal Affective Disorder...
Then the sun came out and I had a good day and confirmed that I am, in fact, just a complicated plant.
To be fair, seasonal depression is complex and annoying and if you struggle with it, you are not alone. 🌱☀️
Besides sunlight, what gets you through the dark and dreary?
Here's mine:
🧡 Lighting candles
🧡 Embracing cozy: blankets, loungewear, slippers
🧡 Connecting with people, even if I feel like hibernating
🧡 Hot, scalding showers
🧡 A little extra chocolate
🧡 Moving my body in joyful ways
🧡 Walking to and from work
🧡 Plugging in my "sad lamp"
🧡 Reading chick-lit beach reads
