But guess what? I like mornings better anyways! So Zen is moving back to the 9:30 time slot (on Tuesdays).

Starting next week I'll be running three fitness classes(Boot Camp) per week; Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 7:45-8:30 am.

Mondays and Wednesdays will be full body workouts with Monday being a circuit (rotating through stations). On Fridays we focus on the lower body in a circuit style class as well.

PS. I've decided to offer an option for participating in my fitness classes that's separate from the yoga membership. Prices are for 1 month which you can start anytime:

'ONE AND DONE' - $45 - 1 class/week
'DOUBLE DOWN' - $60 - 2 classes/week
'TRIPLE THREAT' - $70 - 3 classes/week

You can still use your punch passes for the fitness classes and of course you can still take advantage of ALL the fitness classes as well as ALL the yoga classes with the one month UNLIMITED membership:

Seniors & Teens - $72
Adults - $80

I am often asked, "Which class is the best place to start?" That's not a simple answer... What's easy for one person isn't necessarily easy for others because yoga isn't just about stretching your hammies or getting into an advanced pose, it goes so much deeper if you allow it to. But generally speaking when someone asks me where to start I believe they are asking about the physical challenge so here's my list in order from the aspect of "easiest" to "most difficult":

Restorative - slow and gentle
Rise & Shine - mindful with focus on mobility
Slow Flow - concise direction, some stronger poses
Zen - medium pace with a little bit of everything
Healthy Hips - hips are complex, tight hips are restrictive (but we do it anyways)
Roots - quicker pace with advanced postures

Bootcamp (not yoga) - strength training using body weight or dumbbells

✨ You'll notice the last Monday of March is different... Chelsea will be leading a women's circle which she's offering BY DONATION. Her only ask is that you RSVP as there is a participant limit with respect to the time allotment.

A new ROOTS sequence starts next week and let me tell you... You're going to love it!

ROOTS - It's the same every week which allows students to get familiar with the postures so they can slow down, tap into their inner knowledge and measure their progress. It's a grounding practice designed to invoke strength, stillness, stability and resilience.

This is a powerful class (to help you build strong roots!)

🪷"Zen" will hold a permanent position on Sundays, for now. I often refer to Zen as the happy medium class.. It's very accessible to all experience levels because you get all the options or "bus stops" as one of my teachers liked to call them.

💪"Boot Camp" is just a fun way of saying group fitness class. It's not scary, we actually have so much fun! And everything can be done with body weight alone so nobody is expected to lift weights unless they want to, and we have a range of dumbbells from 1lbs to 25lbs.

☀️"Rise & Shine" with Chelsea is my favorite class to attend because she is an amazing sequence planner, she's super welcoming, and she's very knowledgeable.

🧘 "Yoga" is generally going to be a combination of Flow and Restorative... A Yin Yang kind of thing. But not always because sometimes YOU need something else and we feel that. So we just want to have the ability to lead without guardrails.

🌱 "Roots" omg just try it... If you like a strong practice.... Or a gentle practice.... Or a way to gauge your growth as a Yogi... Or if you just like a warm citrus-spice cloth placed on your forehead while you drift into a relaxing savasana.

Hahaha, I love it!

Sometimes healing looks like deep breathing, journaling, talking, praying, long walks, and hot baths. A million dollars wouldn’t hurt either. And sometimes it saying f**k this out loud. until you remember you actually have a voice and permission to use it.

You spent too long biting your tongue, softening your words, making yourself quiet so someone else could stay comfortable. That stops now.

Say it in the car. Say it in the shower. Say it to your reflection. Say it to every memory where you swallowed your anger to keep the peace. F**k this. F**k that. F**k all of it.

Your throat chakra doesn’t clear through silence. It clears through truth. And sometimes the truth sounds like rage before it sounds like anything else.

So if today’s meditation is cursing out loud until something in you shifts—good. That’s not unladylike. That’s not unhealed. That’s you remembering you’re allowed to take up space, make noise, and stop apologizing for having feelings about what was done to you.

Let it out. Your voice was never the problem.
