Share your thoughts on MAID advanced requests please!!
Should he ever develop a condition that seriously erodes his cognitive abilities, Paul Hergott knows he would want a medically assisted death. But as a British Columbian, he does not currently have the option to make an advance request. By the time his condition advances, he writes, "I might have already lost the required cognitive capacity and be completely deprived of a merciful end to my life."
