DIY Eyelash Growth Serum

Give your lashes some extra love with this soothing natural oil blend. A few minutes of preparation can help you create your own gentle eyelash serum that supports the look and feel of thicker, softer lashes.

All you need are four nourishing ingredients found in most natural beauty cabinets:
• ½ tsp Vitamin E – provides antioxidant care for delicate lash hairs.
• ½ tsp Argan Oil – a lightweight oil that helps condition and smooth.
• ½ tbsp Almond Oil – deeply moisturizing with a silky finish.
• ½ tbsp Castor Oil – adds rich coating and sheen for fuller-looking lashes.

To prepare: Mix the oils together in a sterilized dropper bottle. Gently swirl to combine. Apply sparingly with a clean brush to the base of your lashes at night. Avoid contact with eyes. Over time, consistent care may help lashes appear healthier and more nourished.

Always check for sensitivity before regular use. Keep your tools clean and use fresh oils for the best results.

Your tongue is a mirror to your overall health, providing clues about what’s happening inside your body. By paying attention to the color, texture, and coating of your tongue, you can gain valuable insights into your digestive health and overall well-being. A normal, pink tongue indicates a healthy system, while changes in appearance could signal digestive issues or nutrient deficiencies.

For instance, a pale tongue may indicate anemia, while a thick, white coating can be a sign of bacterial imbalance in the gut. By noticing these subtle signs, you can take proactive steps to support your health. Your diet, hydration, and lifestyle choices all play a role in keeping your body in balance.

Regular self-checks of your tongue can be a simple yet effective tool in preventive care. It’s a small step in listening to your body and responding to its needs. By incorporating this awareness into your routine, you can make better choices that contribute to long-term health and vitality.

Healthy Vegan Caramel Sauce

10 Medjool dates
▢½ cup full-fat coconut milk from a can
▢4 tablespoons maple syrup
▢¼ teaspoon cinnamon
▢4 tablespoons reserved water from the dates

Instructions
Fill a saucepan with water just enough to cover the dates. Gently boil dates for 10 minutes.
Drain, reserving 4 tablespoons of the water. Let sit until cool to the touch. Peel and pit the dates. Chop the dates and toss them in a blender with the full-fat coconut milk, maple syrup, cinnamon, and reserved water. Blend until super smooth, about 2 or 3 minutes.

Pour the sauce back into the saucepan and bring to a boil, then simmer for about 5 minutes, or until it thickens.
