From rosemary to roses 🌹 🌿

I've always been a “plant person”. In college, when I moved into my very first apartment, one of the first things that I did was to find my favorite plants at the time (burro's tail succulents, which I still love) and hang them outside my front door.

Over time, something I have noticed, is that we are often surrounded by or gravitate towards the plants that can support us the most at any given time. Whether that is through physical nourishment or energetic support. Even many of the "common weeds" that grow alongside the sidewalk can be potent and powerful healers.

For a long time, I gravitated to rosemary and the various sages that grew locally where I lived in southern California. If any of you saw me at in person events, you may have noticed that they were always somewhere in my booth or on the table near me. These plants offered me protection, cleansing, and the feeling of safety amongst the business and noise in a major city. They also grew easily and abundantly where I lived for the past 20 years.

Now, I find myself in a new place on the planet where the trees and plants are plentiful, beautiful, yet unfamiliar. Having never grown roses before, I now find myself a steward of an abundance of rose bushes on my property. While there is a learning curve in learning how to care for them, their presence solidifies that, for me, this is a season of life that focuses on loving healthy boundaries, self care, beauty and gratitude.

I've been enjoying the slow process of taking the time to meet the energies of different landscapes, plants, trees and flowers. Through my awareness of energy (that I am always cultivating) and simple, powerful energy work in meditation, I am noticing when and what is reaching out to me in the moment to offer nourishment and support.

And this is what has inspired me to create new monthly container - Intuitive Plant Allies. To have a space where we can joyfully connect with the energy of plants and learn, together, how we can work with them as allies in many facets of our life and healing journey.

2026 - A Year of Authentic Embodiment
 
As 2025 came to a close, I sat in meditation and asked for an image that represents the energy of 2026 for all of us collectively. This is what I recieved: the image of a lighthouse, shining its light out onto the ocean, standing tall, strong, and steadfast. 
 
As many of you know, when I read  energy - and as I teach others to read, images are often accompanied by words or phrases. The keywords that accompanied this lighthouse imagery were: authentic embodiment. 
 
The “technical” definition of Embodiment is a tangible, visible form of an idea, quality or feeling. 
 
We are here, in 2026, to be tangible, visible forms of Source light. Of our beliefs. Of love. Of the qualities that we value the most.
 
I truly believe that all of us who are here as conscious healers on planet earth are being invited to shine our light more brightly, to really bring the qualities we have admired more fully into our being and into our physical reality. 
 
This lighthouse imagery and symbolism is an invitation for us to be that lighthouse rather than to look around for the nearest lighthouse, out there, somewhere... The light, the insight, comes from within us, and from our unwavering connection to Source.
 
As we shine our light out onto the path ahead, just like a lighthouse shines out onto the ocean, we might not be able to see all of what’s out there, in the distance, but we can see that which our light illuminates. Meaning, we can have personal certainty - certainty in ourselves, in our capacity to be that light, and certainty that we know and trust in what we see that is illuminated within us. 
 
May you all shine bright in joy, empowerment, certainty and love in 2026.

SLOWING DOWN TO RECEIVE

This past week, I was guided to share a meditation on the topic of Releasing Blocks to Receiving and post it to my YouTube channel (🔗 in bio). The energy work that I share in this meditation is something I have been leaning on in my practice as of late, and I truly hope that it brings healing, clarity and powerful energetic shifts to all who are in need of them. 
 
This is, for so many of us, a season where our focus can lean towards giving and doing. Certainly, there is joy to be found in giving to others, in sharing the warmth of our home, our resources, and our creations with those we love. 
 
But often during this time it is all too easy for us to fall out of balance, and get stuck on a hamster wheel of giving and doing for others, or for the sake of tradition. We let ourselves become out of sync with the earth’s call to slow down, be still, and allow ourselves to receive rest and replenishment. 
 
This month, I have been taking time to reflect on everything that I have accomplished in 2025 - selling my home and moving to a new home in a new country, creating and holding space for my first 6-month course, a handful of musical projects and going on a few short tours to support them. No wonder I’ve been craving more time to rest and recharge!
 
 Admittedly, at first I felt some resistance to slowing down, but I’m now allowing myself to do so, to be supported, to produce less, to do less in a day, and to focus more on allowing myself to receive the nourishment that I need. 
 
As I’ve done this, I’ve been noticing some beautiful shifts - people in my local community reaching out and offering help when I least expected it, a deeper awareness in my own self healing space and powerful clearing of energetic blocks. 
 
As a recovering workaholic, this has honestly felt radical and liberating!

I invite you all, no matter what you have accomplished this year or feel you have left to accomplish, no matter how big your current “to do” list is, to take some time to be still this week. To go inward and ask Spirit to show you -  
 
What stands in the way of me receiving just as much (if not more!) as I give to the world and to others?

One of the focal points of my personal practice right now has been connecting with the energies of the land where I now live, especially the plant and animal spirits here.

And as I have, it has really dawned on me how incredibly grateful I am that I chose to devote a lot of time and energy to cultivating my awareness of Spirit, and honing trusted techniques and tools that allow me to perceive, connect with, and understand different energies with greater ease.

One of the fundamental techniques that I learned early on in my own training is to take time to get grounded, say “hello” to an energy, and notice how it says “hello” back to you.

This is effective whether you sense and want to communicate with a nature spirit, a plant, one of your guides, even the energy of someone who has passed on.

When you say hello, you are acknowledging the presence of that energy, and setting the intention to communicate with it.

When it says hello back to you, you have the opportunity to notice how you perceive it, and how it is able to communicate with you right now.

How do receive that hello back? Meaning, how is this energy communicating with you right now?

For example, you may see it move, or wave back to you — this means you can communicate with it via imagery, your clairvoyance.

You may hear it say hello, which means you can communicate with it via clairaudience.

You may feel the hello as a sensation washing over you, which means that you communicate via clairsentience.

You may know that your voice has been heard and acknowledged, meaning you use your claircognizance to communicate.

You may even say hello and receive a physical sign, symbol, or synchronicity to validate your experience, taking your dialogue into the physical in a very palpable way.

Personally, I have been enjoying all of the different “hellos” that I’ve received back lately — and how differently I experience communication where I live now versus where I used to live.

Even if you are not in love with where you live now, or are currently in a period of transition from one chapter to the next, each one of us is placed where we are right now on the planet for a reason.

We all have unique and purposeful soul contracts to fulfill with the land that we live upon, and the people in our communities.

Take some time this week to connect with Spirit in meditation and ask -

What is the healing that is needed on this land right here, right now?

In what way can I help facilitate that healing?

The answer may be simple, or may take time to fully unfold and reveal itself.

As all life is intrinsically linked, just you being you, a bright light committed to your own healing and growth, facilitates the healing and growth of the land you walk upon. 🕯️

As I continue to settle in, I’m also continuing to unpack the experiences that I’ve had surrounding my recent move. Once my partner and I fully made the decision in the beginning of this year, there were a lot of playful signs and synchronicities that showed up to validate that decision.

Many of you who have gotten readings with me know that I describe colors often in readings (color, whether perceived with our physical eyes or third eye, is energy and vibration). This was one of the first times on my path that I received very clear signs as colors - these signs were so fun and incredibly meaningful. They showed me that the place I moved to was a vibrational match to my next steps and who I am in this present moment. 💙

One of the most palpable things I experienced during my move was an expansion of my capacity to have faith. While there were so many clear signs and “hellos” from Spirit that this move was aligned for me, there were also some pretty big challenges that showed up, especially throughout July.

For one, there was a very real possibility that my partner and I could have lost both the sale of our home and the sale of the home we were under contract to move into, through no fault of our own. There were sudden changes to our move timeline, and many complications that arose for us to navigate. Did I feel fear, stress, and anxiety - of course, I’m human! However, each time these feelings and thoughts came up, I knew that they were also invitations and opportunities for me to expand my capacity to have faith, patience, and trust that I was being divinely supported.

Some days it was certainly a *process* to release the “what-ifs” and the fear, but I new I was being asked to have faith and trust regardless of the thoughts and emotions that were being stirred up within me. In the end, everything went through at the exact right moment - down to the hour, even! And throughout the whole process I received so much physical (and spiritual) support and love; all the pieces of the puzzle of the move fell into place.

I’m taking the ethos of this experience and applying it to all different facets of my life; I know that I have the capacity to have more faith and trust than ever before.
