The work that our team does for our community is so impactful. Making sure our elderly and medically vulnerable neighbours are safe at home is a cause we all really believe in, and we honour that work by celebrating together at the holidays! We bowled til our hearts content at Sunset Lanes and had a wonderful meal prepared by Jenna's Kitchen. Thank you all so much for the work you do, and for coming out to the party!

This is so important and so needed for our seniors. Please give today!

Every year, more than 23,000 seniors over 65 come through the doors of the NRGH Emergency Department. They are the patients who often spend the most time in the ER, and overcrowding can make their care experience even more challenging.

Creating BC’s first Senior Friendly Emergency Unit means providing seniors with a dedicated space that is quieter, safer, and equipped with the specialized supports they need. This renovation will also help reduce overall ER strain - a meaningful step forward for patients, families, and care teams.

Together, we can build an ER that truly meets the needs of our aging population.
