Central Drugs Central Drugs has been operating since 1892. We currently have seven locations in the Nanaimo area, all locally owned and operated by pharmacists.

Having been Nanaimo's homegrown pharmacy for the past 125 years, we're extremely proud of the legacy that we've established. We're even more proud about our mission today - creating healthy relationships one patient at a time. Using our Pharmacy First approach, we chose to operate Central Drugs with you in mind. This initiative is focused on increasing awareness and helping more people register as organ donors, something that can truly save lives. Currently, hundreds of British Columbians are waiting for a life-saving transplant, and even a small increase in registrations can make a meaningful difference.
