Central Drugs Central Drugs has been operating since 1892. We currently have seven locations in the Nanaimo area, all locally owned and operated by pharmacists.

Having been Nanaimo's homegrown pharmacy for the past 125 years, we're extremely proud of the legacy that we've established. We're even more proud about our mission today - creating healthy relationships one patient at a time. Using our Pharmacy First approach, we chose to operate Central Drugs with you in mind. This means incorporating numerous customer-centric services, features, and protocols - including having more pharmacists on staff per location than any other pharmacy in town. Locations:
