🤍 Welcome back, Dana 🤍

Dana has been part of Advanced Health & Sports Clinic since day one in 2018, and we’re incredibly proud to welcome her back to practice following maternity leave.

Over the past year, Dana devoted herself fully to motherhood — while continuing to deepen her clinical expertise through advanced education, mentorship, and skill refinement. That commitment shows in the way she practices: thoughtful, precise, and always evolving.

She’s returning with a renewed focus on pelvic floor therapy, pregnancy, postpartum care, and cesarean recovery, and we couldn’t be more excited for our community to work with her again.

A few honest truths about PT most people don’t hear:

1. Your pain didn’t come from “one wrong move.”
It usually builds up over time, and that means it can be built back down too.

2. Exercises aren’t meant to hurt you to help you.
They’re meant to teach your body how to move safely and confidently again.

3. Good rehab isn’t about doing more.
It’s about doing the right things consistently, even when they feel simple.

4. Feeling sore doesn’t mean you’re doing damage.
It often means your body is adapting to movement it hasn’t trusted in a while.

5. Your physio isn’t trying to “fix” you.
We’re here to help you understand your body so you don’t feel afraid of it anymore.

Thinking about a bike fitting? 🚴‍♂️ It’s more than just tweaking your seat height. A proper fit can make riding feel better, smoother, and more fun.

A good bike fit can help reduce pain and discomfort in your back, neck, knees, and even that saddle soreness we all know too well. It also helps prevent injuries that come from poor alignment or repetitive strain, especially when you’re putting in bigger miles or tougher rides.

When your bike matches your body, you get more out of every pedal stroke. That means better power output, smarter aerodynamics, and more efficient riding whether you’re out for a casual cruise or chasing a new personal best.

Big shout-out to for a strong Day 1 of the Upper Extremity Mulligan – January 2026 course.

Huge thanks to Erik Schmidt (MScPT, FCAMPT) for an excellent day of instruction — clear clinical reasoning and practical takeaways across fingers, hands, wrists, elbows, and the cervical spine.

This course has been in the works since 2024, and it’s been great to finally see it come together. Mulligan remains one of the true hallmark names in global physiotherapy education, and it’s an honour to be the first local clinic to host this group.

Day one didn’t disappoint. Looking forward to diving into the rest of the upper-quadrant content tomorrow.
