Katie Littlejohn, Registered Massage Therapist

Katie started her massage therapy career in 2007, and brings a wide range of experience to benefit her clients. In addition to practicing in a traditional clinical setting in Victoria, she also spent two years as a therapist at a heli-skiing lodge during the winter and at a fishing lodge in the Haida Gwaii during the summer. Every client is unique and Katie understands this, utilizing treatments to address each client's particular needs after assessment. She creates a treatment plan and home care regime that will cater to each individual's needs whether it is rehabilitation, prevention or maintenance. Katie welcomes people with all kinds of ailments to her practice, and seeing patients' lives improve with treatment brings her great joy. Katie has a special interest in massage therapy for women before, during, and after pregnancy. Her treatment approach is to create an environment for the body to heal itself through various techniques such as trigger point release, myofascial release, muscle energy or relaxation techniques. Katie graduated from the 3000 hour massage therapy program at the Victoria campus of West Coast College of Massage Therapy in 2007. She was honoured to return to the College to work with massage students as a clinical supervisor and teaching assistant from 2011 to 2013. Katie is excited to return to her hometown of Nanaimo and bring her therapy skill set to you, and she looks forward to sharing her passion for massage therapy and a healthy lifestyle.
