I am a Graduate from the 3000 hour Registered Massage Therapy program at the West Coast College of Massage Therapy in Victoria BC. My passion for helping others and my interest in the human body brought me to massage. Through my studies I developed a passion that allows me to learn and remain open minded. As a healthcare practitioner I believes in treating the body as a whole to help clients achieve optimal health. Using techniques such as Myofascial Release, Muscle Energy, Swedish, Deep Tissue, Trigger Point Therapy and Active and Passive Stretching allows me to treat clients in a way that suits them best. During my studies at school and during my practicum I had the opportunity and pleasure to work with a wide variety of clients with many different conditions. I received 3rd place on her case study on “The Effects of Massage Therapy with Cervical Spine Dysfunction” in the Massage Therapist of British Columbia Association competition. I have also studied the ancient Hawaiian massage Lomi Lomi which is a unique flowing, energetic massage that allows you to reconnect with your mind and body. This massage is all about respecting and honoring yourself and takes a different approach to traditional therapeutic massage. I have also completed Continuing Education for Infant Massage as well As Massage in the childbearing years- Pregnancy focused course. My clinic is a private home based Studio in the Cinnabar Valley. I looks forward to meeting many of your from the area!
