It would better to start them on Methadone ...or Suboxone... then .....have a plan! ....instead of being 'hooked' on street drugs or taking Methadone or Suboxone for the next 20 or 30 years...to wean them off slowly until they are no longer addicted to anything!!

According to stats 64.8% of drug overdoses in BC are men 25 to 54 years old. Most are in the construction industry. Their motto is "work hard, play hard". Usually they have a few drinks at the end of the day or on the weekend "to relax and feel good", then they use something to get a "high". No matter how much they "trust their dealer", that "something" could be their last breath! It could have been because of a stronger dose or because it was laced with benzos, which cannot be reversed with naloxone. Forget about shame and stigma. You need to get help, before it's too late!
