Since 2004 we are the only non-profit dedicated dementia care home in our region.

We’re getting ready for our Christmas Craft Fair & Bake Sale at Eden Gardens on December 10th — and we’re looking for amazing local vendors to join us!

Do you make handmade crafts, holiday décor, jewelry, bath products, art, or tasty pre-packaged baked goods? We’d love to showcase your work!

This month, we come together to raise awareness, challenge stigma, and encourage open conversations about dementia. Today, over 55 million people worldwide are living with dementia, supported by countless family members, friends, and caregivers who walk alongside them every day.

At Eden Gardens, we see the impact of dementia daily, and we are proud to stand with our residents, families, and staff in building understanding, compassion, and hope.

💙 A Friendship Stitched Together 💙

This is Edgar and Volunteer Leanne. Every week, Leanne sits beside Edgar to sew. Together they create bags, heating compresses… and moments filled with laughter, pride, and companionship.

For Edgar, it’s more than fabric and thread—it’s connection, dignity, and the joy of creating something meaningful. For Leanne, it’s the gift of sharing her time and heart, and being reminded that even the smallest acts of kindness can make a world of difference.

Our volunteers bring light, purpose, and comfort into the lives of our residents. And in return, they often find that their own lives are deeply enriched in ways they never imagined.

We are looking for more compassionate people to join us—people like you. If you have a little time, a caring spirit, and a willingness to share yourself with others, you can touch a life in the most beautiful way.

Help us create a cozy space where residents can gather for coffee, treats, games, and good conversation. 💜

✨ We currently have 2 Tuesday morning positions and 1 Saturday morning position available.
If you love chatting, serving coffee, or leading a fun trivia game, this could be the perfect volunteer role for you!
