7 non-negotiable when you’re trying to achieve the healthiest skin;
Get enough sleep ✔️ During sleep, your body increases blood flow to the skin, rebuilds collagen, and repairs UV damage. When you miss or lack proper sleep, your cortisol levels rise, slowing that repair process and leading to dullness, puffiness, and premature lines.
Stay hydrated ✔️ Properly hydrated skin is plump, smooth, and resilient. It also absorbs skincare more effectively.
If you’re chronically dehydrated, no amount of moisturizer can compensate. You’ll see tightness, dullness, or fine dehydration lines.
Use actives intentionally ✔️ More isn’t always better; balance it. Make sure you’re listening to the signs your skin is showing you, and alternate actives in your skincare routine to see real results.
Consistency > perfection ✔️ Be patient with your skin. Healthy skin takes time, especially if you’re at the beginning of your journey. Staying consistent is the #1 way to see results in your skin.
Get regular facials ✔️ By sticking to a 4-6 week treatment plan, this ensures any new concerns can be addressed before any damage sets in, and persisting issues can be addressed regularly to ensure improvement. All while improving circulation, and getting some much needed you-time!
Eat your vitamins ✔️ Supplements are great, but incorporating whole, colourful foods into your diet is key 🔑 Your skin mirrors what’s happening inside your body. Foods rich in antioxidants, omega-3s, and vitamins (especially A, C, and E) keep your barrier strong and inflammation low
Manage stress (we know, it’s easier said than done) ✔️ Chronic stress is one of the most underrated causes of inflammation and breakouts. Cortisol spikes can increase oil production, slow healing, and deplete hydration.
