Soul Harmony Counselling, Inc. Marie Sherwood has a Masters of Science in Psychology. She has been working with challenging children since 1992.

Psychotherapist counselling children and families using the latest neuropsychological methods to find solutions to difficult behavioural and special education issues. She is a licensed therapist who is currently finishing an externship with Dr. Bruce Perry and the Child Trauma Academy. She actively does brain mapping using the Neuro-Sequential Model of Therapeutics and provides counselling via Skype, face to face, or phone support. She also uses her Curly Horses as co-therapists. This incredilbe breed is very intuitive, reacting to the client's emotions and state of mind. This mirror helps the client see themselves and what is important to them.

One of the biggest benefits for families with challenging children is to have a Neuro-Sequential Model of Therapeutics assessment done. The NMT is cost effective and provides parents, therapists and teachers with brain maps that help everyone know how to help the child to heal. Research has shown the NMT assessment to be similar in results to the SPECT scan which costs over $3000. Please contact Soul Harmony Counselling for more information.
