Talking about death, loss, and grief can feel uncomfortable — and grieving itself is often misunderstood. Most of us will face loss at some point, but few are prepared for how long grief can last, how deeply it can affect us, or how it changes our lives and relationships.
When connection is needed most, many people grieving feel alone, unseen, or unsure where to turn. Even well-meaning friends and family may not know how to offer support in the ways that truly help.
National Grief and Bereavement Day is today -- November 18th, a time to increase grief literacy and remind our community that support is available.
