We have modified holiday hours for 2025.
Dec 24th - 9:00 to 12:00 pm
Dec 25 and 26th - closed
Dec 29th and 30th - normal hours
Dec 31 - 9:00 to 12:00
Jan 1 and 2nd - closed

A few of you may have been wondering where Dr. Papegnies was a few weeks ago. Derek was in Winnipeg umpiring at the National Curling Club Championships at the Granite Club in Winnipeg from November 17th to 23rd.

Team BC men and Team Ontario women were the eventual winners of the event.

Derek enjoys giving time back to the sport he enjoys as an umpire to ensure teams play by the rules of the game. He will be umpiring again at the Bunge Provincial Men's championship in Stonewall early February.

Eighty percent of a child's learning is done through vision. To help ensure a clear start, the Manitoba Association of Optometrists is introducing our First Pair Free Program. If your child requires glasses during their kindergarten year, they are available at no cost to you. Please call an optometrist near you to book an exam and find out more.

Little known fact, 80% of learning is done through our eyes. Make sure your children are ready for school this fall by getting their eyes checked.

Kids 0-18 are covered by Manitoba Health for eye exams.

Children in Kindergarden are also eligible for a free set of glasses through the Manitoba Association of Optometrist's Eye See Eye Learn program. Contact either of our offices for more details.

On July 2, 2025 Valley Optical in Minnedosa will have no power to our office due to building upgrades in the space next door. The Minnedosa office will be closed on that day. We apologize about any inconvenience that this may cause.
