"Since 2014 I have been doing breast prosthesis and mastectomy bra fittings for Harris Pharmacy. I am dedicated to enhancing the well being of post breast surgery patients, offering support and guidance to women who have had breast cancer and require a prosthesis. I also address their emotional and physical needs along their journey. Working closely with CancerCare Manitoba, I prepare all of the requirements for approval to cover the cost of post breast care surgery products.
Every woman who has experienced breast cancer has a unique set of circumstances and needs therefore I take time to address each customer in a private and confidential setting so they will feel at ease and comfortable. A proper fitting prosthesis and mastectomy bra is essential for balance, posture, comfort and confidence. It is so rewarding to see the smiles on my customer’s faces when the leave feeling happier and satisfied with how they look and feel. Post fitting follow up is also important to be sure the women are pleased with the products and to address any additional needs or concerns they may have.
I have met so many wonderful women during the last 11 years .. it has been truly gratifying."
