Where did the name Dom’s deodorant come from? For those of you who don’t know our amazing founders story! 👇🏼

Dom’s deodorant is named after our founder, Dominica Sweet. Dom was an amazing and beautiful woman both inside and out. Dominica created Dom’s Deodorant out of a passion for health in 2013. After being diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma, Dominica saw it as an opportunity, rather than a set back, to live a healthier life and educate others to make healthier choices.

Your skin is your largest organ and is susceptible to the absorption of what you apply to it. Dom switched her self-care brands to items that only used simple, natural, and organic ingredients. However, when it came to deodorant, she found that none of the existing natural products seemed to work. So she took matters into her own hands and created Dom’s deodorant.

Dominica passed away on January 30th, 2020, after her long 12-year journey with cancer. But her legacy lives on through Dom’s Deodorant, which is now run by a mother-daughter duo who were very close to Dominica: Tianna Jerome and Leigh-Ann Jerome. Dom’s spirit continues to be the heart and soul of this company. ♥️
