April is Rosacea Awareness Month
Rosacea is a chronic skin condition affecting over 1 in 10 people. While it cannot be fully cured, it can be effectively managed with the right care.
Those with fair skin who blush easily are at a higher risk, and adults over 30 are most commonly affected. Although less common, rosacea can occasionally appear in adolescents and rarely in children. A family history of the condition also increases susceptibility.
Rosacea occurs more frequently in women, but men often experience more severe symptoms. The exact cause is not fully understood, and multiple factors may contribute to its development.
Medical treatments are available to control and even reverse many of its signs and symptoms. If you suspect you may have rosacea, book a consultation with WH Wellness and Health to learn how we can help you manage your skin and restore confidence.
