NEW PRODUCT – LIQUID MOXA WARMING LINIMENT :)

I’m honestly SO excited about this one. I can barely contain it.

I’ve been working on a traditional herbal liniment inspired by moxibustion, and after testing the latest batch today my hands are still glowing with this incredible deep warmth.

Not just surface heat… that spreading, penetrating warmth you get from moxa.

This formula is built around warming Chinese herbs that move blood, open the channels, and get circulation moving right away.

Ingredients include:

Ai Ye (mugwort) as the chief (Jun) herb
Hong Hua (safflower)
Yan Hu Suo
Chuan Xiong
Ru Xiang
Mo Yao
Rou Gui (cinnamon bark)
Gui Zhi (cinnamon twig)
Gan Jiang (ginger)
Bing Pian
Capsicum
Eucalyptus

The result is a warming herbal liniment that feels incredible on cold hands and feet, stiff joints, sore muscles, and old injuries.

Think moxa warmth without the smoke.

This is the very first batch from ReBalance Botanicals, and seeing the jar of herbs soaking makes me ridiculously happy.

I’ll be rolling this out in the clinic soon and can’t wait for patients to try it.

My hands are still warm as I write this….

If you have muscle pain in your house right now… you need this.

Rolled your ankle?
Tweaked your back?
Pulled something at the gym?

Zheng Gu Shui is your go-to for acute injuries: sprains, strains, sudden flare-ups, impact trauma. When you need fast, targeted relief.

And it doesn’t stop there.

It also excels at chronic pain: stubborn shoulder tension, arthritic joints, lingering low back pain, old injuries that never quite resolved.

This isn’t just another topical.
It’s a powerful TCM liniment made from raw traditional Chinese herbs, formulated to:

✔ Relieve pain fast
✔ Reduce inflammation
✔ Support acute sprains & strains
✔ Calm chronic joint & muscle pain
✔ Restore mobility

This is the bottle you reach for when:
• You twist something unexpectedly
• Your back locks up
• Your shoulder won’t move
• You overdid it at the gym
• An old injury flares (again)

Every active home should have one.
Keep one in your gym bag.
One in your bathroom.
One in your clinic.

Available by prescription through any TCM provider.

Michael Smith and I work together at the Rebalance clinic, and have been colleagues for a long time. He is a sage when it comes to Chinese medicine and nutrition.,This ten week program has been a staple in the community in the past. Don’t miss this opportunity to start your spring off on the right foot 🐣 ☀️🪴

Acupuncture is NOT painful. This is a great example of perception vs. science.

Our medicine, that is thousands of years old, now has these incredible studies backing it up 💚🪴🌿

Sound on! 🔊 A medicine so powerful, that time cannot erase. Traditional Chinese Medicine stays strong in Nelson.

Very grateful for the TCM community and all the professionals that love this medicine just as much as I do.

And to the patients who are seeing results: you are what makes us happy to go to work everyday 🪴😌

Gallbladder flushes… Can be helpful, for SOME people. For others, it can be dangerous. I really want to educate people of the actual risks vs. benefits of this health trend.

The temperatures are slowly warming.
The birds are beginning to chirp again.
There’s that subtle shift in the air… Spring is on its way.

In Traditional Chinese Medicine, spring belongs to the Liver and the Wood element. It is the season of movement, vision, and growth. The Liver governs the sinews: the tendons and muscles that allow us to stretch forward, reach outward, and move toward our goals.

When the Liver is constrained, we feel it:
tight shoulders
stiff neck
irritability
frustration
tension that lingers in the body

Spring is the time to soften.
To create flow where there has been rigidity.
To support the sinews so they can carry us forward with ease.

That is why we are launching this new product soon, featuring magnesium and plant oils. Designed to bring flow and softness to the muscles, supporting the season of Wood and the engendering of growth.

Softening the Liver isn’t just about flexibility.
It’s about restoring movement so your energy can move freely toward what matters most.

Growth begins with gentle release.

What is this little sachet? 🌿

This is a traditional Chinese herbal bath sachet: prescribed based on pattern differentiation and used externally to support the body through heat, dampness, stagnation, pain, or skin conditions.

In classical Chinese medicine, external medicine (外治法) was just as important as internal formulas. Ancient physicians frequently used herbal washes, soaks, poultices, and compresses to:

• Clear damp-heat
• Relieve itching and skin irritation
• Move blood and reduce pain
• Warm cold joints
• Support gynecological health
• Calm inflammation

Before modern pharmaceuticals, external herbal therapies were a frontline treatment especially for dermatology, gynecology, injury, and pain.

How to use:
1. Simmer the sachet in ~2 litres of water for 20–30 minutes.
2. Strain and add to a bath or use as a localized soak.
3. Soak 15–20 minutes.

These are prescribed formulas: not one-size-fits-all , and selected based on your specific presentation.

Would this be something you’d use? Or prescribe?
