Modern medicine uses latin and greek intentionally so that doctors sound smarter than you; Latissimus- lateral (side) dorsum- back, but if I tell you there is a lesion on your latissimus dorsi, I sound a lot smarter than if i say you side-back muscle is injured, so we say it in latin, just to make sure you know we are exalted.
In Chinese Medicine, we call this "heat".
