A special shoutout to Crystal for sharing your powerful voice with us. To Moira, thank you for inspiring us with your experiences of giving and gaining through your time on our board. Lloydetta is a dedicated community leader, educator, and the founder of Sharing the Dream, a program that empowers youth and promotes cross-cultural understanding. Lloydetta's work has focused on creating opportunities for young people, particularly those from marginalized communities, to develop their leadership skills and build positive relationships.

Join us for our 50th International Women’s Day!
International Women’s Day is nearly here, and this year’s theme, "Give to Gain," is just so heartening. It’s a beautiful reminder that when we shift from competition to contribution, we create a "multiplier effect" that lifts our entire community.
To celebrate 50 years of connection, we’re hosting a very special lunch, and we would be just delighted to see you there. We’ll have music, friends, and a special art reveal by the talented Denise Martin Lynch.

Today, we honour and highlight the inspiring Wanda Robson. Wanda was a tireless advocate for social justice and the younger sister of the iconic Viola Desmond.

Wanda dedicated much of her life to sharing her sister's story, ensuring that Viola's courageous stand against racial segregation would never be forgotten. She travelled extensively, giving presentations and speaking to students, educating and inspiring countless individuals.

Wanda also authored the book 'Sister to Courage,' a powerful memoir that provides a personal and moving account of her sister's legacy and the ongoing struggle for equality. Her unwavering commitment to education and advocacy has helped to solidify Viola Desmond's place in Canadian history.

Thank you, Wanda, for your dedication to preserving your sister's legacy and for your own powerful advocacy for justice and equality.
