Wellness Wednesday 💛

This really stopped me in my tracks today as I was studying through the MindBodyFood Institute. It’s such a powerful reminder that our emotions and thought patterns don’t just stay in our heads — they can show up in our bodies too. Fear, guilt, resentment, constant worrying, people-pleasing, holding it all in
 it adds up.

For me, this is such an invitation to be gentler with myself. To notice what I’m carrying emotionally, to breathe, to feel, to let go where I can — and to remember that healing isn’t just physical, it’s emotional and spiritual too.

One verse that keeps coming to mind is this:
“Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.” — Philippians 4:6

What a beautiful reminder that we don’t have to hold it all together on our own. We can give it to God. Lay it at His feet. Breathe a little deeper. Trust a little more. 💛

If your body has been whispering (or yelling) lately, maybe this is your nudge to check in with your heart, mind, and spirit too.

So many people talk about meditation these days — clearing your mind, focusing on your breath, finding calm — and there is value in slowing down and being still. But biblical meditation looks a little different. Instead of emptying our minds, it’s about filling them
with God’s Word, His promises, and His truth. It’s less about “quieting everything” and more about leaning in, reflecting, and letting His voice bring peace, direction, and renewal. Both can help you pause in a busy world, but I’ve found there’s something especially powerful about letting God’s Word be what settles my heart and shapes my thoughts. 💛

How do you like to be still and refocus — quiet time, prayer, Scripture, worship music, a walk, or something else?

Tunes for Tuesday! đŸŽ¶
Today’s song is a beautiful mix of Avril Lavigne and Ed Sheeran, and it’s one of those songs that just hits differently. It feels raw, real, and full of hope all at the same time. The kind of song that makes you pause, actually listen, and let the words remind you that you’re not walking alone — that there’s strength, comfort, and love available even in the messy, tired, and in-between seasons. Even if I can’t add it to my playlist (still rude 😭), it’s definitely been added to my heart playlist. 💛

Mindful Monday 💭
Ever notice how your body stays on high alert even when there’s no actual bear chasing you? đŸ»đŸ˜… That fight-or-flight mode is great in real emergencies
but when it never fully turns off, it can start showing up as tight shoulders, chronic aches, cranky digestion, and that general “why does my body feel grumpy?” feeling. Our nervous system wasn’t designed to live in emergency mode 24/7. Sometimes the most powerful thing we can do for our health is simply help our body feel safe enough to exhale. Deep breaths, gentle movement, prayer, laughter, a good walk, or even just unplugging for a bit can help flip the switch back to rest and repair.

How do you reduce your stress when life feels a little too loud? 💬

Tunes for Tuesday đŸŽ¶
Today’s song on repeat: Stronger by Britney Spears. And wow
isn’t it wild how a song from years ago can still feel like it’s speaking directly to your season? This one reminds me that the things that tried to break us didn’t get the final word. The setbacks, the heartaches, the “I don’t know if I can do this” moments—they shaped us, stretched us, and somehow made us a little braver than before. Not bitter. Not broken. Just stronger, wiser, and more aware of our own resilience.

đŸŽ¶ Tunes for Tuesday đŸŽ¶

This song always stops me in my tracks. Not because it’s loud or flashy—but because it’s honest.
It’s a reminder that bravery doesn’t mean having it all figured out. Sometimes it simply means telling the truth, using your voice, or choosing not to shrink anymore.

So many of us have learned to stay quiet, keep the peace, or make ourselves smaller so others feel comfortable. But Brave feels like a gentle nudge (okay
sometimes a loving shove 😉) to step forward anyway. To be seen. To be real.

Today feels like a good day to ask ourselves:
👉 Where am I being brave already?
👉 And where might I be ready to take one small, courageous step?

Say what you want to say.
Be who you already are.
The world needs that version of you. đŸ’«

Mindset Monday!!

The Power to Change
— inspired by Craig Groeschel

Wanting to start

Wanting to stop

Deciding to make a change, only to fall back into the same old patterns.
Trying again.
Feeling frustrated.
Wondering why this is so hard.

Real, lasting change doesn’t come from willpower alone. It comes from tapping into God’s power—the kind that works from the inside out, even when we’ve failed more times than we can count.

As I step into this next season, I’m looking for 2 test clients to practice my new coaching skills.
✹ Completely free
✹ Supportive, judgment-free, and faith-rooted
✹ Focused on real change, not perfection

If this speaks to you, message me for details.
Maybe this time, change doesn’t have to be done alone. 💙

This morning I was not so gently reminded of this verse 😊
“For God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control.”

Not because life feels perfect, but because it doesn’t. Fear has a way of quietly slipping in—tightening our shoulders, stealing our breath, messing with our sleep, and keeping our hearts on edge. Emotionally, it can make us doubt ourselves, hold back, or feel stuck even when we know we’re meant for more. And before we realize it, that fear starts showing up in our bodies too, draining our energy and our peace.

This verse gently reminds me that fear isn’t what we were meant to live from. We’ve been given strength for the hard moments, love that steadies us, and the ability to pause, breathe, and choose our next step with intention. Nothing dramatic—just one calm breath, one small brave step at a time. đŸ€

Self-care today looks less like a spa day and more like me choosing not to do all the things. It’s a stretch that turns into a yawn, a glass of water I almost forgot about, and saying “I’ll do that tomorrow” without immediately feeling guilty. It’s realizing that rest isn’t lazy, balance isn’t boring, and sometimes the most productive thing I can do is slow down, breathe, and remember I’m human
not a machine. If that means comfy clothes, quiet moments, and a little grace sprinkled on top, then I’m calling it self-care and moving right along. 💛

Wellness Wednesday 🌿

Today’s wellness reminder is simple
 breathe.

Not the rushed, shallow kind we do on autopilot,
but the slow, intentional kind that tells your body you’re safe.

Inhale through your nose for a count of four.
Hold for a moment.
Exhale slowly through your mouth for six.

No equipment. No perfection.
Just a pause in the middle of a busy day.

Sometimes the most powerful reset isn’t doing more —
it’s remembering to breathe. đŸ’«

đŸŽ¶ Tunes for Tuesday – When You Believe đŸŽ¶

There’s something powerful about a song that meets you right where you are

The kind that whispers “keep going” when things feel heavy,
and reminds you that strength, hope, and courage were inside you all along.

Music has a way of lifting us up, helping us push through hard seasons,
and reminding us that overcoming is possible — especially when we choose to believe.

✹ Today’s question for you:
What’s your go-to song of overcoming — the one that empowers you when you need it most?
Drop it in the comments 👇 I’m building a little empowerment playlist 💛

🌿 MindBody Monday 🌿

Lately I’ve been learning that goal-setting isn’t just about pushing harder —
it’s about listening better.

Some days, my goal is progress.
Other days, my goal is pain management, pacing myself, and choosing grace over guilt.

When your body is sore, tired, or flaring up, that is information — not weakness.
Adjusting your goals doesn’t mean giving up; it means working with your body instead of against it.

Small, realistic goals still count.
Gentle movement counts.
Rest counts.

✹ Today’s question:
What’s one goal you can set today that supports both your healing and your growth?
