For many years as a physiotherapist, I treated movement/mobility problems with folks by thinking "mechanically"--"what is limited the movement?" Pain? "Let us help the joint(s) feel better, to move better!" Weak? "Let us use exercises to strengthen the weak muscles, and stretch the tight muscles!"
