Warmth saves lives.
Homelessness Action Week is over, but weโ€™re still collecting essential cold-weather items for our community.

๐ŸšจOur ongoing donation focus: Emergency thermal blankets (available via Amazon or local retailers).

Socks, menโ€™s underwear (new), and $10 grocery or Tim Hortons gift cards are also welcome.
Donations can be dropped off at the clinic or picked up in downtown New Westminster.

Donations accepted to the beginning of November, with all items distributed via UGM New Westminster.

In BC, 4,821 people were experiencing homelessness in 2023 (BC Housing).

Today is World Homeless Day and the start of Homelessness Action Week (Oct 11โ€“18). Weโ€™re highlighting how the Social Determinants of Health โ€” things like housing, food, income, and community connection โ€” shape well-being here in New Westminster.
