A new holiday tradition has begun at Marigold Hospice Care!

The VON care team gathered around the dining table to share a potluck lunch and take part in a Secret Santa exchange. Moments like these remind us how important connection, kindness, and teamwork are—both for each other and for those we care for.

"Our family tradition is the tree is filled with memories. The angel on top is from the year I was born down to personalized LEGO ornaments made for my 3 threes sons in 2024 and everything in between. Every ornament has a story and a memory attached."

Feeling incredibly grateful!

The Clarington Quilt Guild has donated over 30 beautiful handmade quilts to Marigold Hospice. We were honoured to be their chosen charity for 2025, and the pride and excitement they shared was truly heartwarming. These quilts are more than fabric and thread, they are gifts of comfort and care for our residents and families.

Our community continues to amaze us. Thank you, Clarington Quilt Guild, for your kindness and generosity.

We had an amazing time connecting with everyone at the Chartwell Bowmanville Creek Residence Friendship Club. Thank you, Sharon Murphy, for organising this check and quilt presentation event.

Thank you to everyone who helped raise $500 in the 50/50 draw, and to residents of Georgette Gauvreau and Dorothy Sulpher for crafting and sharing such beautiful lap quilts. Your kindness and creativity bring so much joy to our community.
