Today is Autism Awareness Day 🩵

At Our Happy Place, we celebrate the beauty of neurodiversity every single day—but today is a special reminder to spread awareness, understanding, and acceptance.

Autism is not something to “fix”—it’s something to understand, respect, and embrace. Every individual brings their own strengths, perspectives, and incredible uniqueness to the world.

We are so proud to support and learn from the amazing individuals in our program. They inspire us daily with their authenticity, resilience, and joy.

Let’s continue to build a more inclusive world—one where everyone feels seen, valued, and celebrated just as they are.

Double the celebration, double the joy 💛

Today was extra special as we celebrated not one, but TWO birthdays! 🎉🎂 The room was filled with laughter, smiles, and all the happy vibes as we made our members feel extra loved on their big day.

And as if that wasn’t sweet enough… we were also treated to the cutest little visitor 🍼👶 Baby snuggles were in full effect and absolutely made everyone’s day!

Moments like these are what Our Happy Place is all about — connection, joy, and creating meaningful memories together.

A Newmarket-based brewery. This box features two of their house-made sparkling waters, generously donated.

A local laughter yoga instructor and creator of the Bean Sprouter product. This box features a sprout grower and a card inviting recipients to join her free online laughter yoga sessions every Tuesday morning.
