At our Sedona Care Community 👨‍🍳- Chapel Heights our Executive Chef Murray and our culinary team is celebrating National Nutrition Month by empowering seniors to eat well and stay vibrant! 🍐 Leafy greens and colourful vegetables 🥕🥦 provide essential vitamins that support brain function. 🍅

Good nutrition is key to staying active and feeling your best, and this is a perfect reminder that what we eat directly, impacts our cognitive health. 🧠

Spring is in the air and the residents at our Pioneer Elder Care properties are in the “Nourish to Flourish” zone.🌼🌸🌿

March is with our focus on the benefits of incorporating fresh fruit with our residents, who joined in on the fun with our dedicated recreation therapy team to make delectable apple crisp!🍏

This month also included some in the soil activities! Nurturing a garden feeds the soul, and our senior gardeners 🌱 started their indoor seed planting 🌸A wonderful moment of peace and creation. We can’t wait to see the first green sprouts break through the soil while it’s still chilly outside.

Nothing beats the joy of a good game and live music with Jon Liberia!🎸

Playing a simple, classic game like Cup 🥌Curling in the spirit of the Olympics was a wonderful way to spark our Pioneer Elder Care residents memories, encouraging conversation, strengthening social bonds for those living with dementia. It’s not about winning—it’s about the connection. ❤️

The music starts, and for a moment, the world is perfect again. 🎶 Alzheimer’s 🧠may take memories, but it can’t take the rhythm in their hearts. Watching our Pioneer Elder Care residents and their loved ones light up the dance floor proves that music truly is medicine. ❤️🕺💃

Sometimes, the best medicine has four legs and a wet nose. 🐾❤️

To celebrate National Love Your Pet Day our residents hearts were full with the recent visit of therapy dogs from whose visit brought so much joy to all of our Chapel Heights team members, residents and their families.

Pet therapy can lower blood pressure, reduce anxiety, and spark wonderful memories.

THANK YOU! To all the dog handlers from for your gift of time sharing your beautiful therapy dogs with us.

Seeing these smiles makes it all worth it.
