It’s time to share something special with you ✨seed+ROOT yoga 🧘‍♀️

seed+ROOT yoga series is an offering to connect deeply with your own body and mind.

Focused on pelvic floor health and wellbeing, we also discover hip mobility, releasing low back pain, peri and menopausal support, somatic healing, chakra alignment and deeply restorative breath, and meditation practices!

This 4-week series will be held at .yogini peaceful yoga studio located on Lake St in St Catharine’s.

Begins Wednesday, July 9th, and runs each Wednesday 9-10am 🤍

Here’s what’s new and how to work together ✨🤍
There’s been a revival of my spirit, offerings, and path forward, and I’m ready to share them with you now.
After years of growth, dismantling, and expansion, I’m ready to step into offering again.
I’ve been hesitant to put my energy into promoting/offering again because I hit a hard wall of burn out and unexpected life changes previously.
But the way I feel about my offers and how I’m approaching them this time feels softer, aligned, and needed for healing. I keep getting requests, which I’ve been receiving as signs forward 🤍

This is a passive practice for all levels. Begin the evening with gentle movements as you settle into yin yoga poses. Laying comfortably in supported savasana, you will be guided into complete relaxation to experience yoga nidrā.

On the physical level, yoga nidrā encourages a parasympathetic nervous system response, allowing your body to rest and digest.

On a deeper level this practice can take you beyond the physical, into states of consciousness, allowing for greater awareness of your true self, offering deep, transformative healing. Learn about the physical, emotional, and spiritual layers that make us whole.

An evening to set intentions into your heart and mind for the new season ahead.

Come as you are and explore what’s possible when you go with the slow.

I returned to the beautiful Sivananda ashram in Val Morin QC the end of January.

My intention to visit the ashram in 2022 was to heal myself, this year, after the healing I desired didn’t manifest, I returned with the focus to rest, recover and find clarity on my path.

I had intentions, life had lessons.

Instead of rest and recovery, I found surrender, and acceptance.

Half way into my visit I noticed a gas leak from my car. Did I think this was a sign to scrap the car and stay? You bet I did!. But instead, I chose to pay the repair and returned home to my plans of returning to teach in studio classes.

I’m slowly crawling out of the cocoon I’ve been in for the last few years, and it feels good to be processing, realigning, and living with more appreciation and gratitude for life.

Pause for Peace is a two hour event to offer your sweet soul a rest and reset amidst the busy holiday season.

Sanyam is the collection of the last three limbs in the 8 limbs of yoga, Dhāranā, Dhyāna, Samādhi, which translate to concentration, meditation, and absorption.

When we take time to be still, we are better able to hone into our own being, our senses, and draw from a deep place of awareness in a calm and clear state.

Samādhi is the ultimate release of our stories, and the mental activity of the mind clouding our inner vision, we are set free to simply BE.

What to expect:
✨ gentle yoga movements
✨ supported yin yoga postures
✨ guided yoga nidrā meditation
✨ time to rest and reset your nervous system
