There is a space between who you were and who you are becoming—a sacred, wild space where the old falls away and the new begins to stir. It is neither here nor there, yet it is everywhere. It is the soft unfolding of yourself, like a bud stretching toward the sun, a river carving its own path, a wind shifting the trees just so.
In this space, you may feel unsteady, like the ground beneath you has shifted. But it is not a place of falling—it is a place of rising. Every pause, every hesitation, every breath carries you closer to your own becoming. The weight of the past slowly lifts, not with force, but with the quiet permission to let go.
Here, you are allowed to feel deeply, to grieve what no longer serves, and to honor the parts of you that are ready to bloom. You are shedding the layers that held you small, opening to the light and wildness that has always been within. This journey is not linear; it moves like the tides, like seasons turning, like the earth breathing.
Trust the whispers of your own spirit. Listen to the pull of the moon, the rhythm of the wind, the song of your own heartbeat. This space between who you were and who you are becoming is alive, fertile, waiting for your courage, your presence, your surrender.
You are not lost. You are in transition. You are growing into a deeper knowing of yourself. And every step, even the invisible ones, is part of the beautiful, wild unfolding of your own becoming.
This is where it all began, this little yoga retreat my beautiful cousin took me to after my brother died. The gentle whispers inside have been guiding me all along. What do your whispers tell you?
