Northern Respiratory was formed to meet the rapidly growing need for support and education in the field of Obstructive Sleep Apnea. We are an independently owned and locally operated business that has been helping North Bay breathe easy since 2001. Unlike other Canadian provinces, CPAP machine prices are regulated and partially paid for by Ontario's Assistive Device Program (ADP). We work closely with our clients and their physicians, partnering to provide the support needed to achieve positive outcomes. We are dedicated to ensuring that your experience with Obstructive Sleep Apnea is ultimately a success story. That is why both of our fitting rooms are furnished with a bed to allow our clients the best chance a getting the right mask fit. Our staff are highly qualified Respiratory Therapists, CPAP Therapy Specialists and Nurses. Our four staff members have a combined total of over 30 years of service in Respiratory Home Care. Education, training, and on-going support services are a vital part of Northern Respiratory's client-centered focus. As healthcare professionals we understand the unique needs of our clients and are dedicated to providing workable solutions. We work closely with our clients, helping you choose products and accessories that will optimize your comfort and compliance levels, and suit your individual needs.

This important regional event brings together healthcare professionals to explore the evolving role of palliative care, strengthen interprofessional collaboration, and improve access to equitable, person-centred care, especially across rural and remote communities.

With educational sessions, keynote presentations, and expert panel discussions, the conference highlights innovation, advocacy, and practical strategies that continue to shape the future of palliative care in Ontario.

Walking for a Warmer Tomorrow ❄️🚶‍♂️

The results are in! Our team braved the chill for the Coldest Night of the Year walk, and we couldn't be prouder of the hustle.

We walked for 5km through the frost and raised $450 for local charities supporting people experiencing hurt, hunger, and homelessness!

We know that breathing easier starts with a supportive community. Huge thanks to everyone who donated and cheered us on!

It’s time to walk for a cause, right here in North Bay! ❄️

On February 28th, our team will be out in the cold for a very important reason. The Coldest Night of the Year is a family-friendly walk that raises funds for local charities helping those experiencing homelessness and hunger.

We talk a lot about how hard the cold air can be on the lungs, but for many, the cold is a daily reality they can't escape. Let’s walk a mile in their shoes and make a real difference.
