Sara is a registered Counsellor and has been teaching Yoga since 2007 and has trained in Traditional Hatha Yoga, Ashtanga Vinyasa, Yin Yoga, Pre-natal Yoga, and kids Yoga. Sara’s passion and practice of yoga led her to India to follow one of her dreams of becoming a yoga instructor. She lived at an ashram in Nasik and completed a 250 hour yoga teacher training program, where she received international certification as a yoga instructor. She returned to India a year and a half later in August 2008 to complete another 250 hour diploma in Yogic studies where she learned advanced yoga practices. Her love for children and play led her to Malaa of The Yoga Tree, to complete Yoga for Kids teacher training. following the birth of her son in 2009 Sara wanted to teach expecting mothers so she studied Prenatal Yoga at The Salts Spring Yoga Centre. After her move to the UK with her husband and two young children she decided to expand her knowledge once again and complete a 200 hour teacher training in another discipline Ashtanga Vinyasa and most recently 100 hour Yin Yoga with The Yoga People in London. Sara also previously qualified as a Weight Trainer and Pilates Fitness Instructor through the BCRPA (British Columbia Recreation and Parks Association). No matter what level of fitness or flexibility everyone needs to start somewhere. Join her to improve strength, relieve tension, have a better sense of well being and laugh!
