Most people say they have “sciatica”… but did you know there are two very different types? 👇🔥

➡️ TRUE SCIATICA comes from irritation or compression of the nerve roots in the lower spine — causing numbness, tingling, sharp pain, and even weakness down the leg. This is a spinal issue. 🧠

➡️🦵Pseudo-Sciatica isn’t from the spine at all. It’s usually caused by a tight piriformis muscle deep in the glutes pressing on the sciatic nerve — a condition known as Piriformis Syndrome. Same nerve, very different source. 🍑⚡️

Understanding the difference is the key to proper treatment… because if you treat piriformis syndrome like true sciatica, you may never get relief.

If your leg symptoms aren’t improving, get assessed — the cause matters. 🙌

IASTM (Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization) offers multiple benefits beyond just releasing tight muscles. Here's what it does:

1- Increases blood flow and circulation - boosts
oxygen delivery and accelerates healing.
2 - Promotes collagen remodeling - encourages proper tissue repair and strength.
3 - Reduces myofascial restrictions - improves tissue
glide and mobility.
4 - Decreases pain and sensitivity - modulates pain through neurological input.
5 - Improves range of motion - restores flexibility and joint movement.
6 - Enhances recovery - supports healing after overuse, strain, or injury.
7 - Stimulates fibroblast activity - promotes healthy connective tissue regeneration.

Seated AC joint + shoulder adjustment 🔧

Releasing restriction in the acromioclavicular joint (AC joint) helps restore proper shoulder motion, reduce impingement, and relieve tension through the neck and upper back.

🎯 When combined with soft tissue therapy, this precise manipulation can be quite effective for the shoulder.
