Happy Holidays however they long for you this year🎄 If you told me last year what I would walk through and where I would be now, here in December 2026, I would have never believed you. I’m finding my glow on my own. I’m still grieving a lot. I cry most days. At the losses and at the beauty of this world. The life planned with a bestie, a marriage, other friends and loves either in the sky or on Earth but not in my arms. Grief of this magnitude has shaped me. I think my soul is deeper. The deeper the sorrow seems to allow for the highest joys as well. The contrast is beautiful and painful. So if this season brings both joy and sorrow - know that I walk alongside of you XO Jenn

Today I could reflect and feel that a lot went wrong. I took the day off for tests at the hospital I’ve been waiting months for - and when I arrived, they had mistakenly cancelled it all. I have to go back in next Monday. I’m stressed about these tests, so I had a cry, but then took the day to notice the small things. Reminding myself to follow the nudges, because the Universe never leads me astray. I found this little chestnut with art on it, popped it in my pocket and had a little adventure. Now prepping for my Write to Release workshop with plenty of time to pour into myself. Life throws a lot at us - and I encourage you to feel it - the overwhelm, the frustration, the sadness and also find those small moments of light

Writing to Release is a transformative somatic healing workshop designed to guide you back to your inner wisdom through the powerful practices of breath, movement, touch, and writing. Healing isn’t easy. I’m in deep pain today. So…Sit with it. Allow the emotions to run and bleed through you. Stand in the dirt and let it flow out of your feet. Write it. Then write your new story. Move with it - dance it, shake it, walk it. Then embrace it. Hug yourself. Hug a friend. Repeat until you’re stronger and upright. Scars to remind you of what you will allow moving forward. SCROLL IN. A beautiful technique Cindy Ryan first showed me.
Right now, I am struggling.
I am heavy with grief
I am heavy with sickness - a virus has taken me down, severe and concerning hearing loss in my ear, agonizing pain and was pushy and loud enough that I’ll see a specialist today.
I’m grieving very special friends
I’m grieving relationships
Feeling lost and alone.
Feeling low energy and angry, yelling up at the universe “I can only take so much more!”

So….I SCROLLED IN TODAY
Went back through my own pictures instead of scrolling social media.
And look! Look at the community I have. Look at the fun I have!
The energy I have - even though right now I am bed ridden - I remind myself I’ll have it again and I won’t waste it.
I won’t judge myself for feeling so so down right now, but I know it’s a season and it has to pass.
And I will be here, sharing my stories to hopefully make others who feel the same way feel less alone.

We say “How are you?” All day long. And it’s got me thinking… because lately my answer isn’t “OK.” My answer is far more complex than one word. And I bet your answer is too. What if we used #’s to express where we were truly at??? No need for the story, unless it is a safe space to tell it. But what if we said “I’m a 7, sprinkled with some 2’s today?” I use this with my students in the classroom. It gives them a chance to share how they really feel and the rest of us an awareness of how to support them in the day. In 2 months I’ve lost two close friends. From the outside, I keep being told, “WOW. You’re glowing!!!” And I love to hear these comments. But it also shows how we never know what’s happening within a person. I invite you to notice how often you say- How are you, barely waiting for a response. Why do we use this as a greeting if we aren’t actually seeking the true answers? Just some things to mull over on this Thursday when a convicted felon who is against women has been named the leader of the U. S. I always want to know how you truly are and will make time to listen to your stories if you need someone. XO Jenn

Sit with it. You have to sit with it. We are human and meant to feel all of our feelings. When we feel them, and acknowledge them, they then move through us and don’t get stored. Stored emotion = pain, tension, and disease. Touching nature can help you sit with it. I lost another friend last week. Yesterday I hugged a tree and sat on a rock ugly crying. That loud gutteral cry that you want no one to hear. I sat in the Forest, near the classroom my GF taught in and sat with her, with myself, with my anger, frustration, loneliness and sadness. I work with clients online and in person to help them release a lifetime of stored emotion. I’m a client too. I use Somatic therapy to help me me through chronic pain and anxiety. Reach out. To me. Or go hug a tree or cry on a friend’s shoulder. Walk by moving water. And don’t rush into an emotion like happiness because you feel the world want you to. I love you. XO Jenn

Our lives are BUSY.....somehow busier since technology has “improved” our lives! So how do you fit in a workout, healthy eating, parenting, work, housework, social time, enough sleep....etc? into your day!!!!!???? I’m not perfect, but I’ve created a pretty DOABLE program, for anyone looking to build some strength and energy. Quick and easy meals, quick 30 minute workouts! In 8 weeks, you’ll have built new habits and be a new, stronger, more KICK A$$ version of you! This isn’t a quick fix, it’s a new lifestyle and mindset.
