EPE designs specialised courses for certified Pilates Instructors, Health Professionals and Kinesiologists looking to deepen their knowledge and expertise in teaching Pilates in the clinical setting. We also offer Pilates classes for all levels in either private setting or small group setting.

Our hands and wrists:

Consist of 27 bones, 34 muscles and 3 main nerves.

Our hands and wrists let us interact with our environment. They let us perform complex tasks, articulate and communicate emotions. They are powerful yet allow us to do fine motorskill task. We can touch, pull and grasp. Just like the foot the hand has relative to its size a huge representation in our brain mapping- further showing how important it is in our daily life.
Let's look after our hands just like we look after our feet. Stay tuned for some exercise tips to come.

Confident Self Care For Scoliosis- workshop today..hosted by myself and Lori Charko at . Our intention was to empower people with scoliosis through evidence based holistic care ideas to better manage their scoliosis. Pilates, scoliosis specific exercises and Yoga work well together to create better postural alignment, spinal flexibility and stability.

TRILOGY- the first of Ballet BCs performances . It did not disappoint. Sway by Medhi Walerski, then Lila by Sofia Nappi- a new choreographer for Ballet BC. The icing on the cake of course was Bolero X by Shahar Binyamini.
If you haven't got your tickets yet, go and get them now. With an additional.Saturday Matinee performance, there are plenty of options out there.

The Vancouver and Canadian Pilates "Scene" owes a lot to Diane Miller who passed away last week. Diane Miller brought Pilates to Canada and opened the first Canadian Pilates Studio here in Vancouver, BC. Many of the Pilates Instructors working here in Vancouver were trained by Diane through her own teacher training program, the highly regarded Diane Miller Pilates Teacher Education Program. RIP Diane and thank you for all your wonderful contributions.

Footwork on the Reformer: we almost every time start our classes on the reformer with Footwork.
It allows us to warm up our mind and body. We move our feet, ankles, knees and hips in various positions. We connects to our core because Footwork well done requires focus,core control and connection to your centre.
Footwork builds strong yet flexible feet.

This is our 2nd year of supporting and fundraising for Cancer research in the treatment of adolescent cancer.
We have two classes happening on Saturday May 24th. 9.30 Ball Rolling and 10.30 General Pilates Mat Class. Take one or both classes. We suggest a minimum donation of $25 per class.
Can't make it? You can leave a cash donation or scan the QR code on our poster (in clinic).
