Today I went from heels and a suit
to bare feet in the grass.
I train barefoot on purpose. Always.
We’ve become so disconnected from our bodies.
Screens. Shoes. Constant stimulation.
So much thinking, so little feeling.
When you’re barefoot, your body feels the ground differently.
You’re more on your feet.
More aware of where you are in space.
More present under load.
Training barefoot changes how strength feels.
You don’t just move weight.
You feel your body moving weight.
That connection builds awareness.
Trust.
A relationship with your body instead of fighting it.
As kids, we knew this instinctively.
Bare feet. Grass. Sand. Play.
We didn’t analyze it. We just felt connected.
Strength doesn’t have to be disconnected.
Awareness is part of capacity.
