Located in the Dr. Russell M. Hall Family Health Centre, Foresight Optometry is your source for personalized eye care and quality eyewear. Dr. Laurie Canham Kilby prides herself on taking the time to understand your unique visual demands and explain the examination procedures and results in as much detail as you are comfortable with. She is always happy to address your questions, even if you don't think of them until you get home! We have recently overhauled our optical dispensary, adding several exciting and beautiful new spectacle lines. From high-end luxury labels to cost-efficient value packages, from funky and bold designs to more conservative and traditional fashions, there's something for everyone. New styles are added regularly, so feel free to drop by to browse! Other services at Foresight Optometry include contact lens fitting and sales, refractive surgery (Lasik) comanagement, myopia control, and medical management of eye health conditions with prescription medications when needed. We are a proud participant in the Eye See, Eye Learn program, which provides eye exams and free glasses to children in Junior Kindergarten programs (see EyeSeeEyeLearn.ca for more details). ☀️ Dr Laurie is available to help if you have any vision concerns after yesterday's eclipse. Symptoms of solar retinopathy include blurry vision, dim vision, blind spots and distortion. Symptoms can take up to two days to appear. The ER does not have the equipment needed to detect retinal damage.

Please not that we will be closed Friday for a continuing education event. ☀️
