We’re excited to welcome Elston Solberg back to ATP Academy — for the third time!
Elston will be leading an in-depth session on soil moisture and its critical role in plant nutrition, especially in dry land cropping systems.
Soil moisture drives more than just yield. It influences nutrient availability, root development, and overall crop performance. With modern agronomic practices contributing to nutrient stratification in the soil profile, water availability has never been more important.
In this course, we’ll explore how to:
• Use soil tests, tissue tests (old vs. new leaves), and soil moisture probe data to identify early stress signals
• Understand how nutrient mobility and stratification affect root access under dry conditions
• Apply four-dimensional agronomic thinking to develop adaptive nutrient management strategies
• Improve both water use efficiency and nutrient use efficiency
This session is built for agronomists, retailers, and growers who want to sharpen their ability to interpret data and make proactive, high-impact decisions in-season.
If you’ve joined Elston before, you know the depth and practicality he brings. If this is your first time, you’re in for a strong, data-driven conversation.
Looking forward to another great session at ATP Academy. 🌱
