Last week we were invited to the Scotiabank Arena for a behind the scenes tour of the Toronto Maple Leafs dressing room and Toronto Raptors court! Our guide Gaby gave a truly memorable experience with his humorous stories and knowledge of sports history. Residents commented they would 'go back again tomorrow' as there was so much to see!

Happy Lunar New Year! To celebrate the Year of the Horse, we were pleased to welcome Kevin Lee for a special presentation on the highlights of China. Today, we took time to recognize Black History Month. Black in Canada gave us the opportunity to learn more about culture and Canadian history, while also reflecting on the lasting impacts of racism. Residents and team members left the room deeply moved and ready for meaningful discussion. It was a unique and powerful experience for everyone who attended.

Random Acts of Kindness Day is a day dedicated to spreading positivity through small, thoughtful gestures. Our residents helped make the world a little brighter today, by distributing flowers throughout the community, sharing smiles, creating connections, and reminding us all how simple acts can make a big impact. 💐

This week we hosted our Glen Abbey Olympic Games! In the spirit of the Milano-Cortina, residents competed in five activities—Cornhole, Bucket Pong, Olympic BINGO, Shuffleboard, and Wii Bowling. The event concluded with gold medals, participant certificates, tiramisu cake, and a cozy watch party for the opening ceremonies. A fabulous time was had by all!🥇
