If you're like most people with SAD, your symptoms start in the fall and continue into the winter months, sapping your energy and making you feel moody. These symptoms often resolve during the spring and summer months. Less often, SAD causes depression in the spring or early summer and resolves during the fall or winter months.

Three Israeli women residing in Australia, with experience and qualifications in social work, decided to take advantage of the time zone to support those in Israel who have difficulty sleeping due to anxiety. This free initiative is running via zoom meet in Hebrew. You can join the project for support through the page of one of the organizers, Efrat Wolfson. The project is named "חיבוק לתוך הלילה" ("Embrace into the Night").

Another daily idea to make your child’s transition to school as smooth as possible: try to find some friends...

If your child is the only one in their class who doesn't know anyone, consider setting up some play dates in advance with one or two of the other kids. If there are some recognizable faces among the crowd on their first day, your youngster will feel more secure. If they are anxious about their first day, you can also reassure them that they will see their friends.
