Welcome to Tiny Oaks Pediatrics Dr. Dhekney!
Hello Families! Though born in Mumbai, India, I grew up in Pickering, Ontario since the age of five. I went to nearby McMaster University for undergrad before traveling to Michigan where I completed medical school at Wayne State University, graduating in 2010. I completed my pediatrics residency training at Children’s Hospital of Michigan and a Chief Resident of Quality Improvement year at the Medical College of Wisconsin, in Milwaukee. I stayed on at the Medical College of Wisconsin for another year, as Associate Program Director while also working in the Emergency Department at the Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin. My husband and I were missing home and decided to move back to Canada in 2015 where I worked in Woodbridge, Ontario until 2020. Given that our family lives in Oakville, I decided to transition to Tiny Oaks Pediatrics in 2020. I provide all aspects of general pediatric care but am also available for consultation through a family physician. As a mother to three young children, there is no spare time!—but enjoy playing with our dog, Dino, baking with my kids and taking walks on our Oakville trails. Hope to meet with you soon,
Kalindi Dhekney, MD FAAP
