Today we say “no”.
No, to children being treated as valueless property.
No, to boys and girls having their childhoods stolen by traffickers.
No, to young people being exploited and stripped of their dignity.
Today, July 30, is World Day Against Trafficking.
It’s the perfect day to say “no” to child exploitation, and “yes” to being a powerful force for change.
Human trafficking is no small problem. It does not discriminate against its victims, and it leaves a wake of trauma in its path.
Every month, 689 people (people just like you) give what they can to help create a safer, freer world for children and youth. We call this generous community The Refuge.
With their help, we’re able to provide survivors with safe housing, compassionate support and opportunities to build a future where they can flourish. And we can prevent exploitation before it happens through education and awareness.
And with you as a member of The Refuge, we’ll be able to do more of this critical work. Would you consider giving monthly to support survivors and prevent exploitation?
World Day Against Trafficking is the perfect day to say “no” to exploitation and “yes” to being a force for change. It’s also the last day to have your impact doubled.
If you join The Refuge before midnight tonight, a generous donor will match your monthly gifts for the next year.
Today, with whatever you can give, you can help create a world where every child is safe and free: ally.org/world-day
Thank you for being the kind, caring person you are—someone who leans in to help. We’re so grateful for you.
