Dr. Amy Doornekamp grew up on her family’s hobby farm in Odessa. and worked in New York as an equine and small animal veterinarian.

She graduated with her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from Ross University, completed clinical studies at Cornell U.

Tomorrow is the last day to pick up medication and food orders before Christmas! The clinic will be CLOSED December 24th, 25th and 26th. We will be open regular hours (8am - 5:30pm) December 29th and 30th.

FYI: The clinic will be closed for Christmas break December 24th, 25th and 26th and closed for New Year's December 31st, January 1st and 2nd. Please be sure to order any medications or food your pet need well in advance of the holidays. ❄️

On this Remembrance Day, we remember all those who have served and sacrificed for our country. Dogs had many roles during WWII, and their service is honored and remembered along with their human counterparts.

Our Story

Dr. Amy Doornekamp was born and raised on her family’s hobby farm outside of the village of Odessa. She developed a love for animals very early in life and since childhood knew that she wanted to be a veterinarian. She graduated with her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from Ross University and completed her clinical year of studies at Cornell University. After graduation she worked in upstate New York as an equine and small animal veterinarian. Amy returned home to Odessa where she started her own equine mobile practice, Odessa Equine Services. Amy grew up with horses and loves working them. With her love and expertise in working with small animals she founded Millcreek Veterinary Clinic in Odessa. Dr. Doornekamp sincerely appreciates everyone who has brought their pet to the clinic and looks forward to serving the community for many years to come.
