✨️Try This 60 Second Reset✨️

This technique, called Box Breathing, is used by Navy Seals to stay calm, focused, and clear-headed even in the most intense situations. 💫

It's simple. Powerful. And you can do it anywhere.

Just one round is enough to shift your state.
But repeat it for 1-5 minutes and you'll feel the full reset.

🟦Inhale - 4 seconds
🟦Hold - 4 seconds
🟦Exhale - 4 seconds
🟦Hold - 4 seconds

Save this as your nervous system reset.

And let me know...

Did you notice a shift during this one-minute practice? 💖

✨️You're NOT Broken. Your Body Has Just Been In Survival Mode.✨️

Stress, anxiety, exhaustion - these aren't flaws. They're signals. Signals that your nervous system has been keeping you stuck in fight, flight, or freeze.😔

When stress becomes chronic, your brain 🧠 rewires itself for survival, prioritizing protection over connection, clarity, and ease.

This is why rest doesn't feel restful, why you struggle to be present, and why you feel stuck - because your nervous system is operating from past experiences, not your current reality.

✅️But here's the truth: You don't have to stay stuck. With the right tools, you can rewire your system, release stored tension, and step into a new level of clarity, energy, and freedom.

So here’s the question:🤔

Do you wanna stay stuck in survival mode, or do you wanna start to break through?🚀

🔥If YOU 🫵 are ready and you want to experience a 5 minute 9D Breathwork session geared towards relaxation, comment RELAX, and I will send you the link!💖

✨️THE PHYSIOLOGICAL SIGH✨️

If you don't have 5 minutes to do some deep breathing when you are feeling stressed or anxious try the physiological sigh.🌬

It is a simple, science-backed breathing technique that helps quickly reduce stress and regulate the nervous system.💫

It’s a natural reflex the body uses to relieve tension. If you have ever watched a baby sleep, (or even your pets 🐾) you will notice this, and also often after someone has cried.

🌟HOW TO DO THE PHYSIOLOGICAL SIGH:

🎈Inhale deeply through your nose—fill your lungs about 75% full.

🎈Take a second, sharp inhale through your nose—this fully inflates the lungs.

🎈Exhale slowly and completely through your mouth—release all the air in a controlled way.

🎈Repeat 2–3 times as needed to feel calmer.

You can use the physiological sigh anytime—before sleep, during moments of anxiety, or to reset after an emotional moment.🎯

🙌Let me know if you have heard of this or have tried it in the comments.🙌

1 of my dogs literally did this while I was typing this message! 😅

✨️HOW PROTEIN CAN PLAY AN IMPORTANT ROLE IN YOUR WELL-BEING✨️

It's after the holiday season and we can often feel the after effects of over-doing from trying to create that magical experience for our families, and the over-indulgence of food and sweets treats a little (or a LOT 😅) around this time of year.

But did you know that when you're feeling overwhelmed and stressed, the right nutrition can make a big difference in managing your mood and energy levels.💫

Protein, in particular, plays a crucial role in supporting your body during stressful times.👌

Here's how the role of protein can help you:

🌟ENERGY AND STABILITY: Protein helps stabilize your blood sugar levels, providing you with sustained energy throughout the day. This can prevent the energy crashes that often accompany stress and overwhelm.

🌟MOOD REGULATION: Protein contains amino acids, which are the building blocks of neurotransmitters like serotonin and dopamine. These chemicals are vital for mood regulation and can help reduce feelings of anxiety and depression.

🌟MUSCLE MAINTENANCE: Stress can take a toll on your body, leading to muscle tension and fatigue. Adequate protein intake supports muscle repair and maintenance, helping you stay physically resilient.

🌟IMMUNE SUPPORT: Chronic stress can weaken your immune system. Protein is essential for the production of antibodies and immune cells, helping your body fight off illness more effectively.

Make sure you are incorporating a variety of protein sources into your diet so it can help you manage stress more effectively.😊 Below are some options you can choose from.

👍LEAN MEATS: Chicken, turkey, and lean cuts of beef and pork are excellent sources of protein.

👍FISH:
Rich in omega-3 fatty acids, fish like salmon, tuna, and mackerel not only provide protein but also support brain health.

👍PLANT-BASED PROTEINS:
Beans, lentils, chickpeas, tofu, and tempeh are great options for vegetarians and vegans.

👍DAIRY:
Milk, yogurt, cheese, and cottage cheese are not only high in protein but also contain calcium and other essential nutrients.

👍NUTS AND SEEDS:
Almonds, walnuts, chia seeds, and flaxseeds provide protein along with healthy fats.

HERE ARE SOME TIPS FOR INCORPORATIN PROTEIN INTO YOUR DIET:

1️⃣Balanced Meals: Aim to include a source of protein in every meal. Combine it with complex carbohydrates and healthy fats for a balanced plate.
2️⃣Healthy Snacks: Keep protein-rich snacks on hand, such as Greek yogurt, hard-boiled eggs, or a handful of nuts, to keep your energy levels stable throughout the day.
3️⃣Smoothies: Blend protein powder or Greek yogurt into your smoothies for a quick and easy protein boost.
4️⃣Meal Prep: Plan and prepare meals in advance to ensure you have healthy, protein-rich options available, even on busy days.

🌱Remember, what you eat fuels you and a balanced diet combined with other stress management techniques, can make a significant difference in how you feel.😁

Take care of yourself, and don't forget to fuel your body with the nutrients it needs to thrive. 💪😊

🌟Let's talk about how at the start of each year you ALWAYS hear people making New Year resolutions on big goals they want to achieve or changes they want to make for the coming year.🎉

But the thing is...

BIG goals can start to feel too huge and overwhelming to accomplish as we are putting so much pressure on ourselves to try and reach the outcome.😔

This is why BOLD New Year resolutions can often lose their momentum because while our intentions are in good faith, the goal we had originally fixated upon starts to fade.

I GET IT...

Life gets busy...We get hit with unexpected roadblocks along the away.⛔️

But you don't HAVE to make BIG BOLD changes tied to specific outcomes to make a BIG impact.

Instead, how about deciding to focus on small intentions and choices and celebrating the little wins along the way.😊😉

Change CAN occur without having a huge milestone to reach...👍

Every small daily action you can take forward is a step towards something you can do for yourself this year.

Tiny actions you can focus on will add up to big changes in the long run. It's the little habits you choose on a consistent basis that will make the difference in your life.✅️

So what small actions will you take to help yourself in 2025?? I would love to hear them!

Remember...each small step 🚶‍♀️ forward is progress so don't forget to applaud your effort and intentions.👏

Nothing is better than recognizing your own self worth.💖
