"Yoga isn't for me its too zen, I need something more active, more stimulating, more challenging"

I makes me want to stop everything and put them in some postures that will have their legs shaking in minutes.

Yoga can be as intense or as gentle as you want. Each pose has different levels. You wanna work? I can offer you postures that challenge you in ways you did not imagine!

Wanna take it easy? No problem here is the gentle version of that posutre.

No you are not!

No one is bad at yoga and we are all beginners. Postures that challenge you, that make you wobble? They are messages, insight, they are the little things that tell you this is new, but we won't give up.

You are not bad at yoga, trust your body is learning something new, or remembering.

The magic of Yoga? You can literally show up in the worst possible mood and mindset and then leave feeling the exact opposite. Trust me, I know this. I have shown up in the most foul mood, moved through the class and then cried in savasana and felt 100000x better.

Please remember you never have to show up to class 100%. You don't even have to show up in a good mood. Showing up is the hardest part and when you let yourself move through the class at the pace you are at that day, something really magical happens. You give yourself space to move through the energy and bring more calm and peace into your day.

February: A Love Letter

This month already feels much lighter compared to January, anyone else? There is a clarity and an ease that comes with the sun rising earlier and setting later. Are we out of Winter, no. Are we closer to Spring, officially, yes. Thank god. Not that I don't love Winter, but I am thoroughly enjoying the sunshine on my face and later dog walks.

The energy of Februray or wisdom of it, is about returning to light. Where are you still holding onto things that are weighing you down? What habits are we holding onto out of comfort even though we have out grown them? And where are you dimming your light, shrinking or playing small?

February asks us to evaluate this and slowly, gently, start the transition to a lighter, brighter you. No rushing, nothing abrupt, just slow intentional transitions.

And if you are feeling lost, confused, like you are kinda stuck in the mud, you are NOT alone. Many of us are moving into new versions of ourselves, or feeling the call to step into something more but feel like our feet are anchored to the ground.

We know we are stressed, we know we are holding back but we can't seem to make the step forward. Comfort holds us back.

If this sounds like you, or you feel a subtle "tell me about it", then I wanted to extend an invite to an event that has been exclusive to the e-mail list, until now.

On February 17th I am running a the Collective Soul Journey. A workshop for those ready to step through the fear, the lack of clarity, the shadow and to start learning and listening to where this is coming from and start to gently shift it.

I will guide you through somatic practices to start unlocking the fear, the doubt, the shame and all the other stuff that is keeping you feeling stuck or lacking clarity. We will explore through the body where we are limiting ourselves and start making real strides towards the version of us we desire to be.

This is really transformational work, I generally only do these 1:1. But, I wanted to offer something that was more accessible in price. Something everyone can experience. And again if you feel the little whisper of a "yes" then jump off the cliff and join us.

I’m really just a girl excited about bringing more light into peoples lives. Through daily, weekly or monthly classes I hope to inspire you to become the best version of you. Pushing you to challenge yourself while finding a compassion and ease for where you currently are. Yoga is a journey, we are all on this path together, my goal is to inspire and support you in all the ways I can. Namaste
