Tight back? Stiff shoulders? Sore legs? You’re not alone.
Farmers put in serious work during harvest β€” and your body feels it. Here are 3 simple stretches you can do on the go (yes, even next to the tractor):

1️⃣ Standing Backbend – Hands on hips, gently lean back for 10–15 seconds. Great for undoing all that forward bending.
2️⃣ Shoulder Rolls – Roll forward & backward 10x each. Keeps those shoulders loose after hours of machinery.
3️⃣ Hamstring Stretch – Prop one heel on a step or tire, straighten your leg, and lean forward slightly. Hold for 15–20 seconds per leg.

βœ… No equipment.
βœ… Your back will thank you.

Over half of kids and teens will deal with lower back pain β€” and heavy backpacks are often to blame. Carrying too much weight or wearing a bag incorrectly can lead to poor posture, muscle strain, and even headaches.

βœ… Choose the right bag:
Lightweight material (like canvas or vinyl)
Proportional to your body (not too big or too low)
Two wide, padded straps + a waist or hip strap

πŸ“¦ Pack it smart:
Keep it under 10% of your body weight
Heaviest items go closest to your back
Only pack what you actually need

🎽 Wear it right:
Always use both straps
Buckle the waist strap at belly-button level
Keep it snug to avoid strain
